Stop Dieting, Start Living
End the biological warfare
with your body
Nourish the neglected
parts of yourself
You’ve got a wardrobe full of ‘when-I’m-thinner’ clothes
Food takes up way too much space in your head
You're constantly thinking about what others think of your appearance
You feel like your diet, weight and health are spiralling out of control
You’ve done all the plans (and hated them)
You've even tried some pretty risky things in the pursuit of thinness (that you're not proud of)
You feel miserable and can't look at yourself in the mirror.
You’re tired. Of starting again. Of the constant battle in your head.
You’ve been taught to believe your worth is in your weight.
Thinness = happiness
That if you just tried harder, you'd be better.
That lie? It’s not just unhelpful. It’s harmful.
One that expands your identity instead of shrinking your body
In todays society we get marketed diets adnausium, get told we’re not enough and are conditioned to think that thinness = worth.
Enter the toxic diet and food industry, which always has a miracle new solution (diet, plan, injection, pill, shake, fitness routine, protein bar, etc etc)...
It cons you to into disrespecting your body, neglecting your needs and risky behaviour in the pursuit of thinness.
That ruins your relationship with food, your body and doesn't even work.
That's why I created the SELFISH framework because it's about healing the whole system and nourishing the mental and physical parts of yourself that have been neglected.
We start with food—because that’s where the noise is loudest.
But from there, we shift the rest: how you think, how you move, how you speak to yourself.
S - Stress - regulate your nervous system
E - Exercise/movement - move with joy not guilt
L - Loving Kindness - Rewire your inner dialogue with fierce compassion
F - Food - Deeply nourish your body with whole, vibrant, plant-based meals
I - Intimacy - Reconnect to your body, desires, and emotions
S - Sleep - Learn to honour rest as a sacred tool for healing
H - Humour - Because how can a belly laugh not make your day better
This is anti-diet, biology-respecting, soul-nourishing approach.
It's time to stop shrinking your body — and start expanding your identity.
I get it, I've been there.
I spent years on the diet hamster wheel — losing weight, gaining shame, and just generally not liking myself.
Diet. Restrict. Obsess. "Self-sabotage." Binge. Blame. Repeat.
I thought if I just got smaller, everything else would feel better.
But instead of shrinking my problems, I was shrinking myself.
And that voice in my head? It only got louder.
The life I wanted only seemed to get further out of reach and I felt more and more like a failure.
I went on a journey of healing and as I shed the layers of conditioning and cultivated self-worth from within I shed the unwanted lbs too.
Popular diets (Weight Watchers, Keto, low carb, calorie control, etc) simply don't work for the vast majority of people. Or more accurately, they are modestly effective for a while, but after a year or so the benefits are largely gone.

According to The New England Medical Journal "large, rapid weight loss is associated with poorer long-term weight loss outcomes, compared to slow, gradual weight loss.

"I’ve really enjoyed working with Sophie and it’s been really successful!"
Before working with Sophie I was struggling with yoyo dieting a lot. I'd have this burst of enthusiasm, but I would never really follow it through for any length of time. I would say to myself, “forget it, it’ll be all right, I'll just have a bit of this now and I’ll get back to it later.”
When I was in the car, I could go from one petrol station to another and buy crisps and chocolate.
Since I started working with Sophie I’ve lost over a stone and a half and I don’t think it’s been that hard.
Now, I’m more enthusiastic about and organised with meals. I feel healthier because of what I’m eating and also because of what I’m not eating. As for the crisps and chocolate I just don’t do that anymore.
I want to continue to losing weight, but to do it in a way that’s sustainable. I think the way that Sophie has helped me with it is sustainable as I’m not hungry, I can eat what I need to eat not to be hungry.
